Adyen is seeking an innovative EMEA Lead HR Operations who believes in transforming the execution of HR operations. Reporting into the Global HR Operations Lead (overseeing Global Operations) this role presents an exciting opportunity to revolutionize HR practices in EMEA whilst having a global process mindset.
This position is based in Amsterdam, leading a dynamic team across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the strategic vision for HR operations in EMEA, emphasizing automation and innovative practices over conventional ticketing systems and shared service centers.
- Lead and inspire a team of HR Innovation Specialists based in Amsterdam, ensuring cohesive execution of HR initiatives aligned with global objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Head of HR Operations based in San Francisco to scale our people operations by maximizing automation & self-service to ensure compliance, speed and impactful people experiences throughout the entire employment lifecycle.
- With your team, take ownership and lead the enhancement of the pre- and onboarding process, while providing support and guidance throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
- Drive transformative change in HR operations, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to streamline processes, enhance employee experience, and foster operational excellence.
- Facilitate alignment, provide guidance, and ensure the seamless execution of HR operations in EMEA.
- You are leading a regional team but always having a global mindset. Make sure to think globally with local adaptability. Act as an enabler between regional HR teams, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practice implementation.
- We're constantly enhancing what we're working on! Foster a culture of ongoing improvement, promoting experimentation within the HR operations sphere.
- Ensure that the EMEA HR Operations team adheres to regulatory standards and internal compliance policies, implementing and overseeing compliance frameworks with regards to i.e. employee documentation, immigration and background screenings.
- Champion an inclusive work culture by promoting cultural sensitivity within HR operations, fostering diversity, and ensuring policies and practices respect and incorporate cultural nuances across all regions.
Qualifications:
- Experience (3+ years) in HR operations, preferably in an EMEA capacity, with a demonstrated track record of driving transformative change and leveraging automation.
- Proven leadership skills in an environment characterized by constant change.
- Strong believer in leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency within HR.
- Visionary mindset and challenging the status quo, reshaping traditional practices, and driving innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, proficient in collaborating effectively across all organizational levels.
