In this role, you will be running a broad range of asset categories, helping us to deliver sustainable returns from our externally managed mandates. Due to recent developments in our asset management activities, we need someone with excellent relationship management skills. Someone who will act as a countervailing power for the qualitative and quantitative evaluations of external managers. Furthermore, you will:

• Be part of the Public Markets team responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of externally managed strategies
• Be responsible for the operating capital generation of the General Account
• Play a key role in reviewing the processes and analysing the performance and philosophy of various mandates
• Deliver intelligence about market developments and identify new opportunities within the Public Markets universe
• Participate in investment meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to further integrating ESG in the investment process

• A relevant academic degree and at least 8 years of experience in the area of financial markets and asset management
• A strong track record in financial markets, with a clear understanding of all major fixed-income classes
• Expertise in monitoring and evaluating mandates within the Public Markets universe
• Experience or affinity with institutional asset management
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) as you’ll be working in a diverse, international environment
