Regional Indirect Tax and Customs Manager
About you
You are an expert in the field of Indirect Tax and you have experience or are curious to know more about the ins and outs of customs. You are systems savvy and great at communicating and explaining indirect Tax to all levels of the organization. You will fit in well if you love working in a human centric team and organization where your natural curiosity and teamwork skills are celebrated.
In your role you are responsible for the indirect tax & customs function within Europe, being directly accountable for the Dutch market and supporting all European markets in their indirect tax and customs affairs (incl. audits and litigations). There are 2 direct reports to guide, advise and support. In this role you will take part in multiple projects to harmonize and to make our processes more efficient making use of ERP Systems. Your previous experience in implementing a new ERP system will come in very handy!

Requirements
• Expertise and experience in Indirect tax and customs in an international trade environment
• Knowledge of Customs formalities and authorizations
• System Savvy
• SAP Experience
• Process minded
• Team Player
• Very good level of English
More about the role..
This role will lead the Indirect Tax & Customs function within Europe, including transformation initiatives by directing the transformation of existing processes and technology implementation. It will also provide indirect tax and customs advisory services to all our European markets. You’re expected to identify tax risk and opportunities, develop action plans and proactively work with stakeholders to optimize the function. You will lead communication with the tax authorities, auditors and service providers on the indirect tax and customs topics.
With respect to the Netherlands you will have direct responsibility over the Inward Processing license management and reporting obligations, as well as on Indirect tax compliance.
