Adviseur.nn.nl is the digital portal for brokers supporting them in their self-service journey in the broadest sense. We e.g. provide insight & oversight, offer inspirational content and maximize digital self-service. We do this by using cutting edge technology, collecting core data business insights and by working closely together with all Business Units.

Adviseur.nn.nl is used million times a year by our brokers and an enabler for the vast majority of NN’s turnover via the broker distribution channel.

What you are going to do

As a Product Manager adviseur.nn.nl you ensure the NN vision regarding architecture, functioning, maintaining secure access and develop commonly used features and APIs. Furthermore, you focus on streamlining processes to provide an efficient and seamless user experience. You interact on several levels in the organization including senior management of the BUs. You will amongst others be working with three teams consisting of talented engineers and UX specialists in an open an collaborative environment. You will have a business manager and a business analyst directly reporting into you and who will support you in covering all aspects of adviseur.nn.nl.

As a Product Manager adviseur.nn.nl you will be responsible for:

• Co-creating the overall product vision under coordination of the Head of B2B & Broker
• Owning the overall adviseur.nn.nl strategy with clear choices about the problems to be solved to realize the product vision and what is really important to maximize the value of our portal
• Managing expectations of the complex field of stakeholders including senior management of the NL BUs through negotiation and influencing
• Defining which teams are required to execute the product strategy and what the role of each team is
• Sponsoring and driving projects, initiatives and activities that promote the culture where teams are empowered. Provide mentoring and coaching to your two direct reports
• Ensuring that adviseur.nn.nl as a whole is compliant with our license to operate standards

• Salary between €7412,- and €10.589 (based on 40 hours per week) depending on your knowledge and experience. It is also possible to work 36 or 38 hours per week

You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively communicate with both technology-oriented engineers and various (senior) representatives (stakeholders) from the Business Units. You exhibit a high level of organizational sensitivity and thrive in a diverse and dynamic environment.

Experience, skills and competencies

• 7+ years’ experience as a manager in a business oriented IT environment
• Deep knowledge of the business context in which the product resides
• Proven track record in navigating in complex environments
• A master degree in IT, business studies or a comparable study
• Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with a keen sense of organizational awareness
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, as you'll be working in an international team. Good command of the Dutch language is seen as a nice to have, not a prerequisite
• Key competencies: leadership, strategic insight, team building, change agility, decisiveness, organization sensitivity and entrepreneurship

Who you will work with

You'll be working with a predominantly international team consisting of several DEVOPS teams and UX specialists. Furthermore you will be working closely together with  Engineering Managers, Architects and the UX lead. Additionally you are part of the leadership team of the B2B & Broker domain and will report into the Head of B2B & Broker who will actively support you in further developing your skills and career.

There is no relocation budget available for this role and we are looking for someone currently living in The Netherlands.
