Working closely with experts from PwC’s global network, the climate change professional provide subject matter expertise in this area to further develop PwC climate risk practice, with a focus on the EMEA region. On an on-going basis, you will also work on consulting engagements and project delivery. The role can be based in one of our offices in EMEA region.

What will you be doing?
As Manager Climate Risk Data professional you will:
- Provide inputs to development of methodologies tools and to support business risk assessment and transformation needs;
- Contribute to the development of sales and delivery materials supporting global propositions;
- Provide contributions to priority climate risk data pursuits around the network;
- Provide technical lead to climate risk relationships with WEF, WBCSD and other priority ecosystem partners;
- Share your/our expertise as a contributing expert to global events and thought leadership efforts;
- Help local teams upskill around climate risk data to apply global approaches;
- Possess the ability to nurture a cohesive community of global climate risk data specialists.
Does this describe you?
We seek a sustainability professional with expertise in climate risk data, to further drive development of PwC climate risk practices.
A subject matter expert in this area, you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Climate science, Sustainability or other relevant disciplines
- Prior, relevant 5+ years’ experience in the climate risk field
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of climate risk and TCFD, with significant prior experience in climate risk data in a consulting, industry, public or corporate environment;
- Demonstrated an understanding and experience in multiple industries and geographies, advising around the collation and usage of data around risks posed by either climate change or the ongoing degradation of natural ecosystems;
- Collaborative as an individual and excelling at leading remote teams and bridging diverse perspectives to reach agreement on technical issues;
- Consulting background with the ability to build relationships, originate new business and technically lead and oversee team development and performance; and,
- Possessing an ability to communicate with others with an ambitious and positive mindset, demonstrating enthusiasm and confidence.
