
ESG Associate
What you will be doing
Our fast-growing ESG team has five focus areas: ESG Assurance, Climate & Nature, Reporting & Strategy, Sustainable Finance, and Corporate Sustainability. As an Associate you’ll be working on diverse engagements across multiple areas, except for ESG Assurance. Working with different experts in challenging environments will help you develop into a rounded sustainability professional who can use their expert knowledge to make a positive difference for our clients. On the advisory side you will help with projects such as:
- Execution and assessment of double materiality analysis
- Supporting clients in complying with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), while determining an ESG vision and ambition and the translation hereof to their strategy and a roadmap for implementation and transformation;
- Aid in implementation of internal control environment needed for upcoming sustainability reporting regulations;
- Benchmarking clients against best practices in the market and competitors;
- Aiding clients in the integration of various ESG topics into their day-to-day processes.
Does this describe you?
You are a talented and ambitious junior and take responsibility for your own opportunities and development. You like working in teams, where different perspectives and ideas come together and are valued, assisting you in your wish to grow in both content expertise as well as social skills. You are innovative, entrepreneurial, and like to challenge the status quo. Moreover,
- You are interested in sustainability, ESG reporting, and developments within this field, and you can show this by means of previous experience or schooling;
- You hold a university master’s degree in accountancy & control, business economics or comparable subject;
- You are ready for a role which allows you to grow, in which you have a societal impact, and where you can get the most out of yourself and your colleagues;
- You speak and write fluent English; Dutch is an asset;
- Available to start in September.
