In this role you will work together with the Head of C&B to develop, maintain and implement NIBC’s C&B activities and any new initiatives and related projects. You will support in the design of all terms of employment at NIBC, to ensure that our rewards package is relevant, competitive and aligned to the long-term overall HR and NIBC strategy. This is a hands-on position that requires a data-driven and proactive approach, switching between strategic thinking and practical implementation, strong data management skills and excellent stakeholder and interpersonal skills.
What will you do?
- Support in the design, maintenance and execution of all terms of employment at NIBC. You are interested in relevant (international) market developments, trends and laws and regulations in this (financial services) field. Together with the Head of C&B you will translate these into proposals that fit the organisation's strategy, wishes and requirements;
- Monitoring, administrating & data reporting in a regulatory context for the financial industry (e.g. WFT and EBA);
- Support and coordinate NIBC’s annual remuneration processes (benchmarking, budgeting, equal pay analyses, remuneration review, reporting) and support preparing the Managing Board and Supervisory Board / Remuneration & Nomination Committee meetings;
- Conducting remuneration risk analyses, drafting external publications such as the remuneration paragraph for the (semi) annual reports and the development & monitoring of the correct execution of reward governance models;
- Contribute to C&B and all round HR projects, such as the transition of the pension plan, mobility, job grading and salary structure, and further embedding the corporate values in employee benefits;
- Maintaining relationships with external consultants, vendors and providers in order to ensure high customer service standards, and internal stakeholders from various departments such as Finance, Tax and Legal. Act as a day-to-day contact person for C&B-related topics.

You will be part of the Compensation and Benefits team, which works closely together with the broader HR team (consisting of HR Business Partners, the HR Service Desk, Learning & Development and HR Projects) and the Corporate Communications team. What do you bring?
You are an eager and hands-on Compensation and Benefits specialist who gets energized by working together with various stakeholders, but is also capable of working independently at data management and reporting activities.
- HR professional, 3+ years of experience in C&B, preferably with solid knowledge of C&B practices, programs and their administration in the Dutch financial industry;
- Advanced in data & reporting, good knowledge of Excel and strong numerical skills;
- Knowledge of, and experience with, remuneration regulations as applicable in the financial industry (WBFO, EBA, WFT, Corp governance).
- Entrepreneurial and pro-active mindset: pragmatism, decisiveness, not afraid getting involved and take up work yourself to getting things done;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Dutch, written and verbally.
